About this course:
I have often found myself saying in my classes if only my teenage self knew what I know now, I would of saved myself much heartache. I had no idea what meditation was back then, and my self love practice was basically non existent. I didn't know that self love was the key ingredient, and the only ingredient to living a happy and healthy life.
I have held private workshops in various schools across Perth, and thought it was time I put together some classes for high school age girls to attend. It has been reported that one in seven young Australians between the ages of 4-17 suffer with a mental illness. This statistic is alarming, and as a parent myself of a 5 and 6 year old I spend a lot of time teaching them how to love themselves and to be present. I see it as my responsibility that I teach my children how to live harmoniously with themselves each day. To instil the practices now so when life puts them to the test, they're well equipped to handle it.
This workshop will dive into all things healing for the mind, body and soul of young teenage girls.
We will be;
Learning about the ancient teachings of meditation
How to meditate and be mindful
Practising meditation in class
Using meditation for when emotions surface
Exploration of the self, who we are and building a strong sense of self
A space to create and play with colours
What the girls will receive;
A crystal tumble
1 x essential oil roller blend
A workbook
Support and guidance from someone who cares deeply (me)
A safe space and nurturing space
